Front left & right speakers – 38 inches or lage speakers will tend to produce better quality. 12 to 15 inch tall speakers is more for people who are willing to compromise sound quality for more space visually.
Center Speaker – This wireless speaker produces the dialogue in dvd movies, and special effecs.
Subwoofer – This type of speaker gives you a deeper bass than regular speakers. Higher-end subwoofers will be powered because it has their own amps onboard to produce these sounds.
Headphones
We tested many models and we highly recommend the Sennheiser RS 130. These wireless headphones were made for audiophiles. They sound so crisp and pure and very well balanced. These headphones offer a spacious open sound to offer a true, rich sound. The biggest distinction is that these headphones are purely made for music and not tv, so if you're looking for TV/Movie you need to look elsewhere. The wireless feature is great and with more than 3 years of use, we have not run into any kinds of issue. The original batteries on this headphone are still lasting as long as they did 3 years ago. Very surprising. Here are some special notes to remember when using this unit. The closer you are to the base/transmitter station the better you are. If you do use it to watch TV, do not put the transmitter too close to the TV as it may cause static. Warranty on this unit is 2 years. I've had it for over 3 years, so it's definitely a high quality, durable product for surround sound wireless.
